We are hosting a Derby Day Double Header with both our Women’s and First Team taking on our oldest foes, the Wigan Warriors, and The Final Charge continues to reach boiling point.
With just two rounds left in the Betfred Women’s Super League, a box office clash awaits as the Saints Women look to get a bit of revenge from the Women’s Challenge Cup Final and beat the Warriors to the League Leaders’ Shield with a home victory.
The Saints Women currently sit in first place in the league table on 22 points, whilst the Warriors are just behind on 21 points. A win would make it back-to-back Shields for our team and earn a home Semi-Final.
Our second match on Friday night is Rivals Round Returned, with the teams in the top six all jockeying for position to finish as high as they can before the end of the regular season in three rounds time.
The Red V went to the league leaders Hull KR last Friday night and narrowly lost out 12-8, ending a four-match winning run. The Derby presents a big chance to earn two more league points and improve our spot in the standings.
Wigan have earned back-to-back wins over Wakefield and then Catalans last weekend, and come to our ground looking to get a home and away win over Saints in 2025.

SQUAD NEWS
Paul Wellens has made two changes to the squad he last named, with Morgan Knowles unavailable for selection due to a failed Head Injury Assessment early on in last week’s match against Hull KR, and George Delaney serving a one-match suspension.
Star winger Kyle Feldt is back available having followed return to play protocols due to a failed HIA after the Hull FC match a fortnight ago. Young loose forward Cole Marsh is included in the Saints’ 21-man squad for the very first time.
The former Blackbrook junior stepped up into our First Team ahead of the 2025 season, having come through our Scholarship and Academy ranks, and playing his part in the Saints Under 18s finishing top of the Academy Championship in both 2023 and 2024. Should he be selected to play on Friday night, he would make his official Club and Super League debut.

Please note that for the 2025 season, the club will be charging £1 (per transaction booking) if you have requested paper tickets. This will include ticket office sales and phone sales.
The cost will also be reflected in both 1st Class Post & Special Delivery as per Royal Mail charges.
