Fremantle have confirmed their team of 23 set to take on the Gold Coast SUNS.

Fremantle have confirmed two changes to the final team of 23 to take on Gold Coast in Saturday night’s Elimination Final at Optus Stadium.

Isaiah Dudley and Nathan O’Driscoll replace the injured Corey Wagner (pec surgery) and Sam Switkowski (knee).

Dudley and O’Driscoll have been named on the interchange bench alongside Bailey Banfield, Sean Darcy and Nat Fyfe.

Matthew Johnson, Oscar McDonald and Brandon Walker have been named as emergencies for the clash.

As confirmed by senior coach Justin Longmuir in his Thursday morning media conference, Switkowski was unable to overcome the knock to his knee sustained late in the Round 24 win over the Western Bulldogs.

Similarly, Wagner injured his pec in the Marvel Stadium win.

Midfielder Jaeger O’Meara will play his 200th AFL game, and just the second final of his career on Saturday, named on the wing with Neil Erasmus.

The last time the two sides met was in Round 12 at People First Stadium where Fremantle prevailed by 11-points in wet and greasy conditions.
Freo’s trademark tackling was vice-like for all four quarters that day, with Shai Bolton’s desperate act in the dying seconds indicative of the will to win.

The May fixture was also dual Brownlow Medallist and Club legend Nat Fyfe’s first appearance for 2025. Saturday night’s game is set to be his last in front of a Fremantle home crowd as he retires at the end of Fremantle’s finals campaign.

Bouncedown between Fremantle and Gold Coast is 5.35pm WST at Optus Stadium.

The tactical substitute will be confirmed one hour before the bounce.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 from 4.30pm WST and on Fox Footy from 5.00pm WST, as well as streamed live on Kayo and Binge from 5.00pm WST.
