Collingwood match-winner Jordan De Goey will be available to play in the club’s preliminary final after the Match Review Officer (MRO) handed down a fine.

The MRO has handed De Goey a $3000 penalty for his collision with Adelaide’s Josh Worrell. The incident was graded as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

De Goey can have the fine reduced to $2000 with an early plea.

Adelaide defender Mark Keane can also consider himself lucky after an errant forearm toward Pies veteran Steele Sidebottom’s head missed.

However, the MRO still deemed the act an offence, and handed down a fine of $10,000, which can be cut to $6250 with an early plea.

The striking incident on Steele Sidebottom was graded as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Crows tall Josh Worrell also avoided any sanction for his head-high knock to Collingwood pressure forward Lachie Schultz.
