Orland Bloom just addressed where he stands with Katy Perry amid their recent breakup.

While promoting his new film The Cut on Today, the 48-year-old actor reflected on his split with Katy, since it was confirmed that the pair ended their engagement over the summer.

Today’s Craig Melvin told Orlando, “There’s been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?”

“I’m great, man. I’m so grateful,” Orlando responded, before speaking of Daisy Dove Bloom, the 5-year-old he shares with Katy. “We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it.”

As for his relationship with Katy, who is currently on The Lifetimes Tour, Orlando said, “We’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.”

On July 3, 2025, the couple, who became engaged in 2019 and were together for almost 10 years, announced they were going their separate ways.

Their statement read: “Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
According to People, a source shared where the “Firework” singer stands with Orlando. “Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando,” the source said at the time. “He’s the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her.”

“They’ve been through a lot together, and while they’ve decided to go their separate ways, there’s still a mutual respect between them,” the source added. “They’re still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they’re committed to keeping things amicable.”
While Katy is on tour to support her 2024 album Lifetimes, Orlando is starring in Sean Ellis’s psychological thriller The Cut as a disgraced ex-boxer obsessed with training for redemption.
