The Gist

K-pop star Lisa shared a photo dump of “some sleepless nights” in Seoul, South Korea.

In two of the images, she totes a limited edition Birkin bag.

The purse was released in 2021 and retails for up to $300,000.

K-pop superstar Lisa isn’t afraid to splurge on the perfect accessory. Case in point? Her limited-edition Faubourg Birkin, which retails for up to $300,000. The Blackpink singer recently took the bag for a spin on a night out in Seoul, South Korea, as evidenced on her Instagram.

The carousel of images shows the singer out and about in the city, meeting fellow icon Hello Kitty, and eating sushi. She captioned the post, “Some sleepless nights 🤓.”

Lisa’s Birkin features a black crocodile top, silver hardware, and a miniature leather facade on its front, which was designed to mimic the brand’s flagship store on Rue du Faubourg in Paris. It was released by Hermès in 2021. Sotheby’s calls it “one of the most sought-after limited edition Birkin bags” ever produced by the French fashion house.

As for the rest of her look? Lisa paired the bag with an understated all-black outfit consisting of wide-leg pants and a sleeveless black top with one large cut-out.

Lisa is not alone in her affection for Hermès, of course. Kate Moss was spotted casually using her $13,000 Hermès Kelly as a beach bag just last month; in July, meanwhile, Lauren Sánchez stepped out holding a rare version of the same bag worth approximately $170,000.

The newlywed’s bag is rare for a number of reasons. Hermès only produces a small run of the style in crocodile leather; Sánchez’s gilded version, also known as the Kelly Midas, has solid 18k gold hardware and a handle partially rendered in gold.

“[The style’s] scarcity only adds to its desirability and value,” Daniel Englander, a luxury resale expert, told Page Six.
