Essendon have parted ways with another member of their high-performance department as strength, power and rehab coach Hal Marsden has reportedly exited the club.

According to SEN’s Sam Edmund, the Bombers’ injury-riddled nightmare season has meant Marsden won’t have his contract renewed as changes continue to sweep through the Hangar.

Marsden has been a member of Essendon’s high-performance team since the 2023 season.

Marsden’s departure adds to the high-performance clean out at Windy Hill, with head of high performance Sean Murphy also departing in July. The Bombers recently named Murphy’s replacement, with highly regarded high-performance manager Matthew Inness leaving his position at West Coast to join the Bombers.
