Three people have been rescued after getting into difficulty at a lake near Creeslough this afternoon.
The dramatic incident took place shortly after 3pm, when the alarm was raised by members of the public.
Members from the Mulroy Coast Guard were tasked to the scene after the emergency call came in to the Malin Head Coast Guard Centre.
Before their arrival, a local boat was able to locate all three casualties and bring them aboard, before returning them to dry land.
It’s understood that members of the Gardaà and Ambulance Service were also in attendance at the scene.
