Police arrested a woman suspected of attempting to drown her 69-year-old mother-in-law at Sdot Yam Beach in Caesarea. About a week ago, police received a report of two women seen struggling in the sea, with one of them drowning. Maritime police arrived at the scene and located the suspect swimming toward the open sea. The 69-year-old resident of Pardes Hanna was evacuated in mild condition for medical treatment. The court extended the suspect’s detention until tomorrow.
