A cyclist is dead after they were struck by a vehicle in East Gwillimbury early Sunday morning.
Police in York Region say the crash occurred at Highway 11 and Morning Sideroad just before 1 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known and it’s uncertain if the driver remained at the scene.
The age and gender of the cyclist was not disclosed.
