Gardaí appealing for witnesses following fatal collision on the Conor Pass

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision at An Clochán on the Conor Pass.

The incident involved two motorcycles and occurred at approximately 4.45 this evening.

The driver of one of the motorcycles, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver, in his 60s, and female passenger of the other motorcycle were brought by ambulance to Kerry University Hospital, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The R560 will remain closed overnight to facilitate a technical examination by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
