York Regional Police are appealing for witnesses and information following three shootings at homes in Vaughan in the last 24 hours.
The first incident occurred on Saturday at around 6:20 a.m. on Farrell Road at Via Romano Boulevard, near Major MacKenzie Drive and Bathurst Street.
Police said in a news release that a male suspect was seen firing multiple rounds at a house before fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured sedan.
CP24 has obtained video footage from this shooting. It it, multiple shots appear to be heard being fired.

On Sunday, at about 4:20 a.m., officers responded to a second call for a shooting in the area of Pottery Place and Blue Willow Drive, which is west of Weston Road and north of Highway 7, and found at vehicle that had been shot.
In a news release, they said male suspect was also seen fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured sedan.
About 25 minutes later, at around 4:45 a.m., police say they were called to the area of Via Romano Boulevard and Allison Ann Way, west of Bathurst Street and south of Teston Road, for a third shooting.
Police said officers there found damage to both a residence and two vehicles.
Again, a male suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured sedan.
“In all three incidents, a dark-colored sedan was observed fleeing the scene, and it is currently believed to be the same vehicle involved,” York police said in a news release.
They also noted that three residences were occupied at the time of the shootings, but no injuries have been reported.

Investigators confirmed to CP24 on Sunday that the shooting on Farrell and the one near Via Romano Boulevard and Allison Ann Way are connected, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
‘We need tougher laws,” says Vaughan mayor in response to gunfire
Mayor Steven Del Duca, who visited the scene on Sunday, said it’s been a “very tough number of days” for Vaughan residents.

“People are anxious, they are scared, they are angry, and they are looking for political leaders at every level to step up and do more to make sure that a clear message is sent to the criminals,” he told CP24 on Sunday afternoon.
Vaughan’s mayor also urged Ottawa to act quickly to toughen bail laws.
“Things have changed… That’s why we need tougher laws. That’s why we need real bail conditions. We need these criminals, these scumbags off of our streets and behind bars where they belong,” Del Duca said, adding he’ll continue pressing the federal government when Parliament resumes.
“When the House of Commons returns, don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. Get it done. Get it done right.”

No suspect description has been released at this time.
Officials say an increased police presence is expected in the area.
