Cyclist killed after being struck by vehicle in East Gwillimbury

A cyclist is dead after being struck by a vehicle early this morning in East Gwillimbury.

The collision occurred at about 12:50 a.m. on Highway 11 at Morning Sideroad, just north of Newmarket, York Regional Police said on X.

Highway 11 (Yonge Street) is closed between Morning Sideroad and Dogwood Blvd. for the investigation.

Police are requesting that anyone with information call 1-876-5423, ext. 7704.
