‘The Cosby Show’ actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died after drowning during a family trip in Costa Rica, according to multiple media reports.
Warner is most known for playing the beloved character of Theodore Huxtable in the hit NBC sitcom ‘The Cosby Show,’ which aired regularly from 1984 until 1992.
His role as the middle child and only son of Cliff and Clair Huxtable earned an Emmy nomination for best supporting actor in 1986.
Warner’s recent acting credits include a guest appearance of the FX limited series ‘The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story’ and a main role on the FOX medical drama ‘The Resident,’ where he played the role of Dr. AJ Austin from 2018 until the show’s end in 2023.
