A Brampton man is now facing a list of charges after an investigation into non-intimate images of a University of Guelph student shared on a pornography website without her knowledge.

Guelph police say their investigation began back in February, working alongside the University of Guelph’s Campus Safety Office, as a student reported that non-intimate images of her had been posted online.

It’s alleged that those images were taken without her knowledge, inside her on-campus residence.

Police also note that those photos included a picture of a bra, which prompted the victim to check her drawers, finding a bra with “possible bodily fluids on it.”

That picture is believed to have been taken inside the bathroom of the same on-campus residence.

On Tuesday, Guelph Police arrested an 18-year-old Brampton man identified as the boyfriend of the victim’s former roommate.

That man now faces charges of break and enter, voyeurism, mischief and criminal harassment.
