Isabella Ladera is a Venezuelan model and social media influencer who lives in Miami. She has drawn attention for her romance with the Colombian singer, Beele, and her posts on TikTok.
According to US Weekly, the relationship between Beele and Ladera was rocky and marred by accusations that he was unfaithful to his former partner Camila Rodriguez, with whom he has kids.
It “was marked by the intensity, ups and downs, and controversies that made them one of the most commented couples in the digital world and urban music,” that site reported.
Now, Ladera and Beele are the focal point of controversy again after a viral video allegedly shows their intimate moments despite their 2024 split. Ladera opened up over the weekend on Threads, with the controversy raging, according to US Weekly.
She also posted a statement on Instagram, where she has more than 6 million followers. “I am deeply devastated,” it says.
“That video was only in the hands of two people, the other person and me,” a translation reads.
A translation of her comments shows she has written on Threads:
“I hope something like this never happens to them,” and “Nothing happens. I turn it around in my favor.”
“When we are together, nothing goes wrong; for me, everything goes well. It feels phenomenal,” she added, and, “With the right person, neither the past hurts, nor the present scares.”
She concluded, “Women turn off sexually if they let them down emotionally.”
“The sea cures everything,” she wrote.
According to US Weekly, Beele, whose real name is Brandon de Jesús López, has not responded. However, El Frente reported that he admitted mistakes in an interview, expressing contrition “to all the people offended with this controversy, to the mother of the children as well.”
In August, Beele was given a protective order against his ex-partner, Rodriguez, meaning she won’t “be able to distribute images or material that may affect the artist’s good name,” according to El Tiempo.
Rodriguez was accused of distributing WhatsApp chats involving Beele and Ladera, El Frente reported.
According to the Miami New Times, Beele is known for his “massive collaborations” with other singers.
“My music comes from the Caribbean coast of Colombia,” Beele told that publication in 2023. “It’s inspired by champeta, African music, and salsa. It’s meant to make you feel good and at peace. I like to make music that spreads happiness and makes you feel like you’re not only in a club but also at the beach.”
