A murder investigation has been launched after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death at an East Sussex railway station.

The boy was found by officers with stab wounds at Seaford station after they were alerted at about 17:00 BST, British Transport Police said.

Sussex Police and paramedics also attended, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin informed.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in custody.
