Apple announced a wealth of new products overnight including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, the AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Watch SE 3 and Watch Ultra 3 and here’s the biggest features for all of them.

Interestingly, Apple has also announced a new range of accessories in the Crossbody strap that will work across all iPhones, a new case in TechWoven which uses yarn and for the iPhone Air, a MagSafe battery that snaps on and bumpers that show off the thinness of the device.

IPHONE 17 PRO

The flagship this year is once again the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max which sports a totally new design. This new design has a uniform alumnium design, as well as a new camera bar that houses the 3x 48 megapixel cameras.

On the front there’s a brand new improved 18 megapixel selfie camera which has the ability to centre people in the front camera and you can also record on the back and front at the same time too.

The battery life of the 17 Pro has been increased and it now has vapor chamber cooling which should make for better performance over a longer period of time taking advantage of the new A19 Pro chip.

IPHONE 17 PRO AUSTRALIAN PRICE AND RELEASE DATE

The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max releases on Friday September 19th with pre-orders starting at 10:00pm AEST on Friday, September 12th starting at $1,999 and $2,199 respectively and come in Silver, Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue

IPHONE AIR

The iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone ever created at just 5.5mm thick. It has a larger 6.5-inch display (in comparison to the iPhone 17’s 6.3-inch display).

The iPhone Air has a singular 48MP Fusion main camera and the same 18MP centre stage front camera that is in the iPhone 17 Pro, but obviously lacking the telephoto lens as well as the ultrawide lens.

It uses the same A19 pro chip but without the vapor chamber cooling due to the thickness of the phone and as far as battery life goes, you get 27 hours of video playback.

IPHONE AIR AUSTRALIAN PRICE AND RELEASE DATE

The iPhone Air releases release on Friday September 19th with pre-orders starting at 10:00pm AEST on Friday, September 12th starting at $1,799 and comes in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White and Space Black. 

IPHONE 17

The iPhone 17 keeps its design, but now has a stronger front display, a ProMotion 120hz display, the new 18 megapixel centre stage front camera as well as two 48MP lenses and the new A19 chip.

The iPhone 17 will release on Friday September 19th with pre-orders starting at 10:00pm AEST on Friday, September 12th starting at $1,399 and comes in Lavender, Sage, Mist, Blue, White and Black. 

AIRPODS PRO 3

The AirPods Pro 3 has improved audio quality, the ability to sense heart rate, a new design that sees the tips rotating inwards for a more secure fit as well as a new layer of foam-infused microspheres that increases noise cancellation with active noise cancellation that blocks out 2x more noise than the AirPods Pro 2 (or 4x more than the OG AirPods Pro).

AIRPODS PRO 3 AUSTRALIAN PRICE AND RELEASE DATE

The AirPods Pro 3 will release on Friday, September 19th for $429 with pre-orders available now. 

APPLE WATCH SERIES 11

The Apple Watch Series 11 is even thinner, has a longer battery life, a new sleep score feature (that is also rolling out to older Apple Watches as well), and will see a bunch of other improvements thanks to OS improvements as well.
