Amanda Seyfried barely had time to catch her breath and unpack after Venice Film Festival before stepping onto the Toronto Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of The Testament Of Ann Lee.

If you remember, her Prada gown in Venice came with that distracting red ribbon detail we couldn’t get behind. Thankfully, Toronto brought us a different Prada moment—this time ribbon-free. It’s always a relief when a Prada dress can be admired without a crease commentary, and this silhouette felt refreshing in that regard.

The open neckline and delicate floral embellishment gave the dress an understated prettiness, the kind of look that feels very Toronto. TIFF red carpets used to steer clear of anything gala-worthy, but in recent years Hollywood has been infusing some of that Venice and Cannes magic. Still, this dress fits the classic TIFF energy—polished, feminine, but not overblown.

I wasn’t sure about the Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock necklace here. I adored it on Mikey Madison when she paired it with Elie Saab’s opulence for the opening of Tiffany & Co. via Monte Napoleone, but here, I’m less convinced that the necklace’s grandeur quite aligns with the dress. Does anyone else feel the same?

Diamond studs and a Tiffany Victoria® ring rounded things off.
