Benson Boone is moving on to other beautiful things.

The “Magical Mystical” singer and his girlfriend Maggie Thurmon broke up following more than a year of dating, according to multiple outlets.

E! News reached out to reps for Benson and Maggie for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Benson and Maggie, both 23, went public with their romance in March 2024, when they attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood.

Since then, the pair have stepped out together at several other events, including the July 2024 premiere of Twisters in Los Angeles and the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

Plus, Maggie has made sure to show her support for Benson by attending a handful of his concerts for his American Heart World Tour, including his Sept. 7 stop at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, N.C.

However, two days later, fans began speculating that the couple had called it quits when Benson made an eyebrow-raising speech while performing in Nashville.

“Sometimes people leave your life, whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing, and it’s always horrible. Always,” he said on stage in a video captured by a fan and shared to TikTok Sept. 10. “Every single time. It sucks. And it sucks to sit in it, and it sucks to be sad about it. And it sucks to feel that so hard sometimes, but it’s OK.”

Noting that losing people is just “life,” he added, “It happens and as terrible as it is, there’s always something or someone who can pull you out of that.”

Benson didn’t mention Maggie by name at the time. However, he confirmed to fans waiting outside the venue later that night that he was going through a difficult time.

“Thank you for coming out, today was a lovely show,” Benson said in a separate TikTok captured by a fan. “It was a rough day, so I was very happy to be on stage and see you guys.”

And while Maggie and Benson may be keeping the details of their split private, the “Beautiful Things” singer previously got candid about what made his connection with the influencer so special.

“It’s her whole personality, who she is,” he said of Maggie in a November 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, adding that she’s the “sweetest and the kindest.”
