A boy, 16, has been charged with murder after another 16-year-old, described by his family as a “cheeky chappy”, was stabbed to death at a railway station.
Joshua Ingram, from Newhaven, East Sussex, was found with stab wounds at Seaford railway station at about 17:00 BST on Wednesday. He died at the scene.
In a tribute, his family said he was “loved by many” and had been taken “far too soon”.
Police said on Thursday that they had charged a suspect, who cannot be named due to his age, with murder and possession of a bladed article. He will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
