“The Wilson Central School District was recently made aware of multiple social media posts by a staff member that have caused concern and distress among members of our school and broader community,” the letter superintendent Timothy P. Carter read.
“We want to assure you that we take these concerns very seriously.”
Carter said the district responded immediately and launched an investigation, “in alignment with our core values of kindness, empathy, and compassion. These principles are not only central to our mission but are the foundation of the example we strive to set for our students.”
Promising a “fair and comprehensive review,” Carter said the school district considered the investigation a personnel matter and would not provide any further details.
