The 2025 Emmys have arrived. The 77th annual Primetime ceremony airs live Sept. 14 on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with comedian Nate Bargatze steering the festivities. Alongside honoring the year’s top shows and performances, the broadcast will feature special tributes to beloved series including The Golden Girls, Gilmore Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, and Law & Order.

The stage is set for history to be made. Apple TV+’s The Studio could shatter the comedy record with a potential 13 wins, surpassing the 11 claimed by The Bear last year. Matlock star Kathy Bates is eyeing a milestone as she looks to become the oldest lead actress drama winner in Emmy history, while 15-year-old Adolescence breakout Owen Cooper could become the youngest male Emmy winner ever. Meanwhile, Severance standout Tramell Tillman has a chance to become the first Black performer to win Best Supporting Drama Actor.
