The Canadiens didn’t win the first game of the prospect showcase, but most of the fans who attended left happy anyway after seeing Ivan Demidov in action. The player who ranked first in our Top 25 Under 25 countdown had points on all three goals that Montreal scored, and made several incredible plays during the 60 minutes of exhibition play.

Today the Canadiens will play the prospects of the Toronto Maple Leafs to conclude their participation in the tournament.

Prospects will once again be trying to make early impressions before joining the NHL training camp. Several already showed that they are ready to compete with the regular roster players, but a few need to show a bit more today to go into the pre-season on the right foot.
