Bad news for die-hard Liam Hemsworth fans who were hoping against hope he’d become single again — he’s officially off the market.
Hemsworth took the plunge recently and popped the question to girlfriend Gabriella Brooks, and she said yes.
On Friday, Brooks, 29, took to social media to confirm that she and Hemsworth, 35, are engaged. In a heartfelt post, she announced the news by flashing her dazzling diamond engagement ring.
The post included a number of pictures, the first being Brooks posing with her arms wrapped around Hemsworth in a black-and-white shot, with her ring is full-on display.
The second image was of the ocean accompanied by the shining sun in the sky, and the third shot featured Brook’s hand resting on a white sheet, with a focus on the ring. She simply captioned the post with a white heart emoji.
The news comes after the couple sparked engagement rumors last month when Brooks was seen wearing a ring on a certain finger while photographed on a yacht dock in Ibiza, Spain.
In multiple photos, Brooks was seen smiling as she flashed the huge ring to others.
The couple, who are both Australian, were first seen together in December 2019 at a brunch with Hemsworth’s parents, Craig and Leonie, in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia.
The two became Instagram official in June 2021 as the actor shared a picture of himself, Brooks, his brother Chris Hemsworth along with his wife Elsa Pataky and Matt Damon’s wife, Luciana Barroso, while at the Gold Dinner 2021 in Sydney.
