As a result, the child’s head struck the edge of the bed and left him with a 2cm laceration.
The child received immediate medical attention and no further injuries or issues were reported.
Police investigated the matter, and yesterday the woman was arrested at a home in Kelso.
She was charged with reckless wounding and was granted conditional bail.
The woman will appear at Bathurst Local Court on October 29.
