Two men will face court after allegedly crossing the NSW border into Victoria with 40 kilograms of cocaine.
The car was intercepted by police on the Hume Highway in Kalkallo, in the outer north Melbourne at about 6.20am yesterday.
Police allege they found 40kg of a substance believed to be cocaine in the car, worth an estimated $14 million on the street.
The two men in the car, a 19-year-old from Noble Park and a 20-year-old from Hampton Park, were both charged with cocaine trafficking and possession.
They were held in custody overnight and will appear in court in Melbourne today.
Police will allege they were transporting the cocaine interstate on behalf of a wider syndicate.
The investigation remains ongoing.
