Toronto Police Service (TPS) officers are investigating an early-morning shooting homicide in the city’s Carleton Village neighbourhood.
Authorities were called to the Osler Street and Davenport Road area near St. Clair Avenue West and Keele Street just after 5 a.m. on Tuesday for reports of a shooting.
TPS said an adult male was suffering from gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were performed, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time.
TPS Duty Senior Officer Phil Sinclair is expected to share more details at a press conference slated for 10 a.m.
Osler Street is closed between Davenport Road and Pelham Park Garden for the investigation.
