The Montreal Canadiens have announced the 60 players who will take part in the team’s training camp, which gets underway with physical testing on Wednesday.

The 60 players include prospects in the organization not yet signed to contracts like defenceman Owen Protz – the youngest player at the camp, and players signed to contracts with the Laval Rocket. Only one try out is at the camp – goaltender Kevin Mandolese. Many of the players invited to camp will be assigned to minor league camp when it begins.

The first on-ice sessions will be on Thursday.
