Civil Administration officials informed official bodies in Hebron and the Palestinian Authority of their intention to implement the necessary planning procedures for roofing the courtyard of the Cave of the Patriarchs, claiming it as part of a humanitarian need for all populations praying at the site. It was also reported that the authorities will be transferred to the Civil Administration, and that the move is being advanced in accordance with the law, following the Hebron municipality’s refusal to cooperate in establishing the roofing.
