Al Ferraby, longtime host of Victoria radio station CFAX 1070, has been charged with two counts of child luring.

He has been charged with one count of telecommunicating to lure a child under 16 years of age and one count of telecommunicating to lure a child under 18.

Court documents say the charges are for alleged incidents that occurred in September 2024 in Victoria and Vancouver.

The radio host has been suspended from CFAX and is under investigation by police, the radio station announced Thursday.

Ferraby has worked at CFAX 1070 since 1994. He was last on air Thursday morning.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
