Green Line Luas services are back operating normally following a fire at a cocktail bar on Dawson Street in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

Dublin City Council had warned commuters to expect traffic delays, after the blaze broke out at Peruke and Periwig at around 5am.

Gardaí said this morning they were treating the blaze as suspicious.

Dawson St, which was closed in both directions as emergency services attended the scene, has reopened.

Luas operators had said services between St Stephen’s Green and Dominic were suspended as emergency services dealt with the incident.
