Donegal’s leading social media star Eric Roberts beginning to turn his online antics into a very serious business.

According to accounts filed for the Downings man, his company has posted profits of €80,000 for last year.

The one-time classroom assistant quit his job and decided to take a risk in front of the camera.

And so far it is working out fantastically well for the 34-year-old.

Last year, Eric worked with many large brands like Permanent TSB, Visit Donegal, Meta, Lifestyle Sports, An Post and Donegal County Council.

His company, whose primary business is listed as “artistic creation” also shows €122565 in current assets.

Eric recently moved to Dublin with his wife, Niamh and son Rían for his new job with Ireland AM.

His heart is still in his home county, however, and the couple said they are building their “dream home” in Donegal.

In an Instagram video earlier this week, Eric revealed his plans, saying: “So people have been asking what we’re doing with the house in Donegal since I got the new job and we’re moving to Dublin… We’re just taking it down brick by brick, one brick at a time.”

“No, we are in fact still building our dream house in Donegal. We’re still a bit away from being able to move in though just yet. We are looking forward to spending a bit of time in Dublin for my new job, but I’ll be making regular trips back to Donegal. After all, the house won’t build itself.”

“We get more and more excited every time we come see it. It’s really exciting as we’re starting to look at kitchens, furniture, bathrooms… and we can really imagine what the house is going to look like when it’s finished.”
