Danny Miran, father of hostage Omri Miran, spoke at a “Kabbalat Shabbat” event outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem, sharing his feelings about the renewed IDF operation in Gaza City. “We assume you are being held there in the city area,” Danny addressed his son, “The IDF’s activity is concerning and troubling, I fear for your life, I’m afraid that a misdirected IDF missile might hit where you are, and the greater fear is that they might kill you. The thought that as a result of the entry into Gaza and the bombings in Gaza you might return in a coffin or a black bag is what keeps me awake at night. Forgive me, son.”
