The draw has just been made for the semi-finals of the Michael Murphy Sports senior football championship.

Naomh Conaill looked to be heading for a shock defeat to a young Termon side at O’Donnell Park. However, a late Max Campbell goal and a point from county star Finbarr Roarty saw them over the line with a slender 2-12 to 2-11 win.

In the other semi-final, a youthful Four Masters beat a fancied Dungloe side by ten points on a scoreline of 0-20 to 0-10.

Two teams from the polar opposite ends of the county, Naomh Columba and Malin, will play in the Intermediate final in two weeks time. The men from Glen deservedly beat a spirited Red Hughs this evening in Ballyshannon by 2-18 to 3-10.

The draw for the semi-finals of the senior, intermediate reserve and junior championships is as follows:

Gaoth Dobhair V St Michaels

Naomh Conaill V Four Masters
