It turned into a shoot-out between Peter Duggan and Tony Kelly as Clooney-Quin and Ballyea played out a thrilling Clare senior hurling semi-final in Cusack Park yesterday, with Duggan’s side winning out by 4-15 to 2-19 to reach the final for the first time since 2017.

Duggan hit 1-10 (1-2 from play) to Kelly’s 1-14 (0-8 from play) as the Clare team-mates went score for score in pursuit of a place in the decider against Éire Óg.
