Ferran Torres took aim at Getafe after scoring twice for Barcelona in a 3-0 La Liga win over Jose Bordalas’s side on Sunday night.

Barcelona’s ‘Shark’ was back in the starting XI and scored twice on a good night for Hansi Flick’s side at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Ferran spoke to reporters after the match and admitted he knew it would be tough going against Getafe.

“We knew it was going to be a difficult game. They don’t offer anything, they try to make too many fouls in my opinion, but we have faced it well. We didn’t start the second half well, but the important thing is to have got the three points,” he said.

Torres also looked to the future and how he feels he can be a regular in Flick’s starting XI, adding: “I’ve always said that I can be a starter at Barça and that I take advantage of every opportunity.”

The Spain star now has four goals and one assist in five matches so far in 2025-26 for Barcelona.
