New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox has become a Guinness World Record holder.

Prior to the start of the FedEx Open de France on Thursday, the DP World Tour challenged Fox, Australian Min Woo Lee, and Englishman Dan Bradbury to beat a Guinness World Record for ‘Most Par 3s Completed in Three Minutes by a Team’.

The previous record was seven, set by Rory McIlroy and YouTube sensations Dude Perfect – an American sports and comedy group – in May 2023.

Bradbury was tasked with the tee shots, Lee took the number two spot, leaving Fox as the clean-up man.

In what was a shaky start, the trio managed seven on their first attempt, then six on on their second effort.

On their third attempt, the trio found their rhythm and comfortably claimed the record – completing 10 par threes inside three minutes.

A Guinness World Records official was on hand to observe and record the effort.

Having claimed the record ahead of the FedEx Open de France, Lee went on to finish tied for fifth in the DP World Tour event, while Fox finished in a share of 14th, nine shots off winner American Michael Kim.
