FIA Launches Second Edition of FIA University Advanced Leadership Programme in Paris
The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, has launched the second edition of its executive education programme, the FIA University Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP), at his headquarters in Paris.
The FIA University ALP, built to work as a catalyst for change, aims to equip FIA Member Clubs high potential executives across the global mobility and motor sport community with the skills and insights to navigate disruption and drive transformation.
Over the course of the five-day programme taking place from 22-26 September, participants will engage in high-level sessions, immersive workshops, and exclusive experiences, all designed to tackle pressing challenges in mobility and motor sport. Topics include sustainable practices, AI-driven decision-making, innovation, and fan and member engagement, giving participants practical frameworks to implement immediately in their organisations.
Thirty-six FIA Member Club Delegates from 24 countries worldwide will learn from top FIA Executives as well as world-class faculty including:
Prof. David Hassan (FIA University): Guiding real-world leadership challenges through case studies;Dr. Madeleine Orr (FIA University Visiting Professor for Sustainability): Improving sustainable practices;Prof. Sascha Schmidt (WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management): Exploring SportTech and innovation;Prof. Karoline Strauss & Prof. Harris Kyriakou (ESSEC Business School): Unlocking change leadership and AI-driven decision-making;Yann Baffalio (Havas Sports): Offering insights on Member attraction and retention and fan relationship strategies.
Participants will also gain key insights from the French Tennis Federation at Roland Garros, explore fan engagement and customer loyalty at the Parc des Princes with PSG FC, and experience innovation firsthand at Station F, with presentations from SportTech and automotive start-ups.
The FIA University is the global leader in the accreditation, education and research of world motor sport and mobility. Its cutting-edge research informs public policy and strategy across sport and automotive industries, and serves as a vital resource for FIA Member Clubs around the world. It is supported by the FIA Foundation, the independent charitable arm of the FIA. The FIA University Advanced Leadership Programme is jointly led by the FIA General Secretariat for Sport and the FIA General Secretariat for Mobility and Sustainability.
