Letterkenny woman Kelley Higgins has revealed that she’ll be living up to her promise to pay off her parents’ mortgage after scooping a share of the prize on The Traitors Ireland.
After winning a third of the €46,900 prize pot, Kelley’s promise to her parents, Brian and Denise Higgins, won’t exactly break the bank!
“I’m a woman of my word,” Kelley told Kevin McGahern on The Traitors Uncloaked, before revealing the surprising amount she now needs to pay off.
It turns out the remaining mortgage was a mere €50!
“Easy!” Kelley said.
Last night’s sensational finale of the first Traitors Ireland was a win for the women as Kelley, Vanessa and Oyin correctly caught out traitors Nick and Ben.
The women each took home a prize of €14,300.

Traitors Ireland may have come to an end, but the good news is that a second series looks to be on the way.
Kite Entertainment, the production company behind the Irish edition of the show, has issued a casting call for applicants for a future series.
