Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is facing renewed calls to step down from his post over a new report.
CNN reported late Tuesday that Hegseth did not inform the White House before authorizing a pause on weapons shipments to Ukraine last week, citing five unnamed sources familiar with the matter. The move led to confusion inside the administration to figure out why the halt was implemented, and how to explain the decision to Congress and the Ukrainian government.
