After beating Port Vale in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, we have been drawn at home against Brighton & Hove Albion in the next round of the competition.
Goals from Ebere Eze and Leandro Trossard saw us knock out the League One side at Vale Park, and book our spot in the last 16, which has seen us pitted against the Seagulls.
The game will take place at Emirates Stadium, and is currently scheduled for the week beginning October 27, with a finalised date and time to be announced in due course.
We are looking to win the competition for the third time in our history, having had our name engraved on the trophy in 1987 and 1993.
The teams last met in the League Cup back in the 2022/23 season when Brighton knocked us out with a 3-1 win, while both Premier League encounters last season ended in 1-1 draws.
