PlayStation held a 35 minute PlayStation State of Play this morning showing off 35 minutes of games including 5 minutes of Saros gameplay as well as a bunch of new announcements.

WE GOT SAROS GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE AND A RELEASE DATE
We got our first look at gameplay footage for the upcoming Saros which looks quite similar to Returnal in the best way possible. It’s also coming on March 20th, 2026.
WE GOT OUR FIRST LOOK AT WOLVERINE
We got our first look at the upcoming Wolverine game which looks absolutely gruesome and it’s coming in Spring 2026.
MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 24 IS COMING TO PS5
It was confirmed that the Xbox owned Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 is coming to PS5 on December 8th and if that wasn’t enough, it’s been confirmed that PlayStation VR2 support is also in development.
A 20TH ANNIVERSARY GOD OF WAR DUALSENSE CONTROLLER IS ON THE WAY
PlayStation confirmed that to celebrate 20 years of God Of War, it is releasing a new controller that goes back to the start of God Of War paying tribute to the Ghost of Sparta’s ashen skin and scarlet tattoo. It will be up for pre-order on October 3rd at 10:00am and release later this month.
PLAYSTATION PULSE ELEVATE ARE NEW WIRELESS SPEAKERS
The speakers have built-in charging docks which give the speakers their charge, built-in woofers, built-in microphones with AI noise rejection, they’re adjustable in angle and they use PlayStation Link so that you can use low latency between PlayStation devices.
The Pulse Elevate speakers will be available in 2026 and available in Midnight Black and white.
ZERO PARADES FOR DEAD SPIES IS THE NEXT GAME FROM THE DISCO ELYSIUM TEAM
ZA/UM announced their next game Zero Parades for Dead Spies which is a narrative-first espionage RPG steeped in paranoia, surrealism and a struggle for redemption and it’s coming in 2026.
NEW PLAYSTATION PLUS GAMES ARE ON THE WAY
Alan Wake 2 is coming to PlayStation Plus on October 7th alongside Goat Simulator 3 and Cocoon and The Last Of Us Part 2 is coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue on September 26th. Tekken 3, Soul Calibur 3 are also coming to PlayStation Classics alongside Tomb Raider Anniversary
DEUX EX REMASTERED IS ON THE WAY
It was announced that a Deus Ex remaster is on the way in collaboration with Eidos-Montreal and will add compatibility for all of the PS5 features as well as remastered graphics. It’s coming on Feb 5th, 2026.
FRIDAY THE 13TH IS COMING NEXT YEAR
It’s one in personally keen on and it’s coming on September 6th, 2026, which iI can’t wait for.
NIOH 3 IS COMING EARLY NEXT YEAR
It’s not one that I personally knew existed, but for those waiting, it’s coming on on February 6th, 2026 which is quite soon.
