St.Helens First Team 21-man squad announcements are sponsored by St Helens Flooring.

Kick-off at AMT Headingley Stadium is set for 8pm on Saturday night.

It’s knockout rugby league: the winner progresses to the Semi-Finals to take on either Hull KR or Wigan, while the losing team’s season comes to an end.

By finishing fifth in the regular Betfred Super League season, the Saints remain in the hunt to reach Old Trafford and the Grand Final, but it will be a tough task away from home. However, Paul Wellens’ men are up for that challenge, with a focussed determination to finish 2025 in a strong fashion.

After 27 rounds the Rhinos finished in third place, earning their first home Play-Off fixture since 2017. It will be the fifth meeting of the season between St.Helens and Leeds, and Brad Arthur’s side will be fired up to get one back over Saints after back-to-back losses during the summer.

Saints’ last trip to Headingley was a memorable one: in sweltering conditions, a remarkable defensive display secured a narrow 0-6 victory. Can the Saints keep their season alive and get a fourth win in 2025 over Leeds?

📰 SQUAD NEWS

Coach Wellens makes seven changes to the squad he named for last week’s final regular-season fixture against Castleford Tigers.

Senior Saints Mark Percival, Alex Walmsley, Daryl Clark, Matty Lees and Curtis Sironen return to the squad selection, alongside young stars George Delaney, following his one-match suspension, and Harry Robertson, who this week was nominated for Super League’s Young Player of the Year Award.

Our players that step out of the 21 this time are: Agnatius Paasi, Lewis Murphy, George Whitby, Will Roberts, Leon Cowen, Jake Davies and Cole Marsh. Unfortunately for Murphy he sadly suffered a reoccurrence of a quad injury, and all at the Club are wishing him well with his recovery.
