Thursday night, near the corner of Prince of Wales Drive and Haughton Road, multiple Regina Police Service officers shot and killed one person.
The shooting took place at around 11:00 p.m. last night, but no further information has been disclosed, including the age or gender of the person killed. Police said the officers involved in the shooting were conducting an investigation, but aren’t disclosing the nature of it.
Now taped off, the parking lot between Affinity Credit Union and the Haughton Villa apartment building is a crime scene.

The Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) tweeted early this morning they have been deployed to investigate the fatal shooting. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact SIRT.
