Currently in the midst of a major recruitment drive, the National Ambulance Service (NAS) are seeking student paramedics right across the country. The service is hoping to attract enthusiastic and energetic people from a whole host of different backgrounds, with the goal being to put them to work in their own communities, within 45 minutes of their front door.

At the Ambulance Station on the Wexford General Hospital campus, intern paramedic Tháigh Morley has come somewhat a different route. A Mayo man, he was brought to Wexford by his fiancée and they’ve put roots down in the Model County.
