The Pumas signal for the posts and it’s a simple enough task for Santiago Carreras to slot between the uprights and level the game.

Springboks win an early scrum right on halfway and the pack makes a bit of a statement with a drive that splinters the Pumas forwards. But it comes before the ball is fed, so we’ve got a reset.
Argentina have a 20-odd kg weight advantage but they give away a penalty second time around and South Africa attack with freedom, Feinberg-Mngomezulu chipping to Kolbe out wide before the fly half hacks through the middle a couple of times but Cruz Mallia gratefully grabs the second of those.
