One man has died and another has been seriously injured following an incident in Victoria’s east overnight.
Police were called to The Boulevard – a residential street in the small Gippsland town – just before 10:30pm.
The found an 18-year-old man with serious injuries.
He was rushed to hospital but died.
A short time later, a second man, aged 20, was found injured on Gillie Crescent, a few hundred metres away from the first scene.
The 20-year-old man remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not revealed what caused their injuries and the subsequent death of the 18-year-old, but said Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
Officers are urging anyone with information or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
