The IDF spokesperson announced that the Air Force struck a high-rise building in the Gaza City area that was being used by Hamas. It was further reported that the building housed military infrastructure of the terrorist organization, which was used to advance and carry out terrorist plans against IDF forces in the area. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to minimize the possibility of harming uninvolved civilians as much as possible, including warning the population, using precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence information.
