National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir addressed the arrest warrant against his Chief of Staff Hanamel Dorfman and the investigation against him and Israel Prison Service Commissioner Kobi Yakobi, saying in response: “The legal seamstress for the government, the dismissed criminal Gali Baharav-Miara, is again operating the Department of Internal Police Investigations as a private militia for settling scores and framing cases to thwart the right-wing government. I am telling her: ‘You will not intimidate us.'” Ben Gvir added that he “gives full backing to the Prison Service Commissioner and to Dorfman, who are performing their duties in a dedicated and professional manner.”
