The stretch of Highway 400 that was closed after a trailer crash in Muskoka has reopened.

1:34 p.m.

In a social media post, the OPP confirmed the crash, saying it involved an SUV towing a trailer and that it happened just north of the Iroquois Cranberry Gowers Drive exit.

Highway 400 was closed in the southbound direction.

The OPP public information advisor told CTV News that no injuries have been reported.

2:15 p.m.

In a social media update, the OPP reported that the Highway was still closed as cleanup and repairs were being done. Motorists were advised to detour via Lake Joseph Road (Exit 189).

Photos supplied to CTV News by a viewer showed the trailer seemingly lying on its side while perpendicular to the highway as crews worked on the scene.

3:17 p.m.

The OPP confirmed that the highway had reopened and thanked everyone for their patience.
